Requirements:
- National Diploma in Building or N3 with passed Trade Test (in any of the Building trades) or National Diploma in Engineering (in Building or Civil).
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience post qualification, Computer literacy.
- A valid drivers’ license.

Duties:
- Prepare specifications for maintenance and minor new work. Develop a bill of quantities. Develop proposals on the associated costs.
- Render an inspection service of work done on new projects and existing structures.
- Develop, implement and maintain an electronic record system for work being done and work that was finalised.
- Analyse and compile relevant project documentation for new and existing structures.
- Develop and interpret plans and sketches.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders in respect of technical aspects.
- Manage the activities of contractors on project.
- Facilitate and resolve problems emanating from projects.
- Develop progress reports on projects.
- Gather and submit information in terms of the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).
