REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows you registration with South African Nursing Council as Staff Nurse. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
Experience: Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse.
Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills (written and verbal). Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work shifts, public holidays, after-hours, night duty and weekend cover for nursing.
DUTIES:
Provide basic clinical nursing care. Development and implementation of basic patient care plans. Effective utilization of resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and selfdevelopment.
