- OPERATOR: TUBE FEED (INFANT MILK KITCHEN) (X2 POSTS)
- SALARY: R163 680 per annum
- CENTRE: Groote Schuur Hospital
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum educational qualification: General Education and Training certificate (GETC) /Grade 9 (Std 7).
- Experience: Appropriate experience in a hospital milk kitchen service.
- Inherent requirements of the job: Physically able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, packing, and pushing heavy trolleys. Willingness to work overtime on public holiday and weekends.
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
- Ability to read and write.
- Basic numerical skills with an ability to adapt feed recipes.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Basic knowledge of infant feed products.
- Knowledge of milk kitchen hygiene practices.
- Basic knowledge of store keeping and stock management.
- Knowledge of pasteurisation of human breast milk.

DUTIES:
- Production and distribution of infant formula.
- Processing of human milk including pasteurisation.
- Maintain optimal hygiene standards in the milk kitchen and store area.
- Basic stock taking and stock control.
- Perform basic administrative tasks as required within the department.
