About Royal Bafokeng Holdings Bursaries
This bursary targets young people who want to pursue a Chartered Accountant (CA) career through a BCom Accounting Sciences CA-stream qualification at a SAICA-accredited university.
Successful applicants will receive full financial support, including:
- Registration & tuition fees
- Book allowance
- Personal allowance
- Once-off laptop allowance
- Accommodation and meals (residence) or a living allowance
Additional Benefits
- Paid vacation work may be offered
- Mentorship and industry exposure
- Bursary is awarded annually and may be renewed based on academic performance

Eligibility Requirements
To apply, you must meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be under 35 years old
- Be unemployed
- Be currently in Matric (2025) or have already completed Matric
- Achieve a minimum Level 5 (60–69%) for Mathematics (NOT Maths Lit or Technical Maths)
- Achieve at least Level 5 for English
- Achieve at least Level 5 for Accounting
- Intend to study BCom Accounting Sciences (CA Stream) full-time in 2026
- Must have applied to a SAICA-recognised public university in South Africa
- Must be entering 1st year of study in 2026
- Must NOT receive any NSFAS, bursaries, or financial aid
- Must reside within the Royal Bafokeng Nation
