Motus Data Analyst Internships
The internship is designed as a minimum 12-month programme, offering structured learning, exposure to the full innovation lifecycle, and the chance to make a tangible impact.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards to visualise innovation funnel metrics and project progress.
- Collect, clean, and analyse data related to innovation activities, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Support the tracking and reporting of innovation concepts from ideation through to implementation.
- Collaborate with innovation team members and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver insights.
- Present findings and actionable recommendations to team members and leadership in a clear, engaging manner.
- Assist in documenting data models, reporting processes, and dashboard standards for knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection and reporting methodologies.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools).
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or R).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative.

Desirable Requirements:
- Additional certifications in Power BI, data analytics, or related technologies.
- Experience with data cleaning, modelling, or dashboard projects (academic, personal, or professional).
- Familiarity with innovation frameworks (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) or automation tools.
- Understanding of business processes or innovation management.
