Requirements:
- NQF Level 6/ 7 in Public Relations/Communications or related qualification as recognized by SAQA. Relevant experience: 1-2 Years’ and Code 8 Divers License.
Duties:
- Coordinate and implement Departmental campaigns: Assist in the development of strategies to guide the management of events, Provide communication support towards staging of departmental events, provide support for the departmental participation in Provincial and National exhibitions; seminars and National commemorative days, Support the implementation of marketing activities, assist with the development, monitoring and evaluation of projects, Assist in the production of branded, promotional/marketing collaterals.
- Coordinate internal and external events: Provide and coordinate a Calendar of events for the department, Plan and coordinate participation of G-FLEET events, assist with Branding during the event, Identify and participate in Exhibitions, provide assistance to line function with planning and arranging special events as well as conducting impact measures/ assessments at end of the event.
- Facilitate stakeholder management and engagements: Assist with the implementation of stakeholder management strategies and policies, Coordinate Stakeholder Meetings for the department, Liaise and promote relations with relevant stakeholders regarding communication services, Participate in all stakeholder management engagements.
