Requirements:

  • Grade 12. No experience required.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • A limited range of work procedures and elementary clerical duties such as: data capturing, administration procedures relating to working Quality Assurance including norms and standards, data collection.
  • Computer Literacy (MS Package), planning and organizing, reporting procedures, finance, conduct basic research/ gather information, procurement directives and procedures, willingness to learn, Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations and relevant prescripts i.e. Code of conduct, Skills Development Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Acts, Batho Pele Principles, Constitution of South Africa.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to perform routine tasks, problem solving, basic interpersonal relationship, ability to operate computer, mathematics, administration skills: Office organizations, document handling and general filing (including electronic filing), report writing, literacy, formulation and editing, good analytical and communication skill, computer literacy, presentation, people management, maintaining discipline, records management.
  • The following will be added advantages: A minimum of one (1) year experience in the Healthcare Quality Assurance/ Customer Care Department/ Data Management unit. Computer Literacy Certificate.

Duties:

  • Receive information and statistics from various units.
  • Data collection and capturing. Ensure accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly capturing/ reporting onto Ideal Hospital system.
  • Follow up on data reconciliation and data verification process and provide feedback.
  • Conduct basic statistical analysis.
  • Timeous submission of statistics and reports.
  • Draw up graphical presentations of quality indicators.
  • Conduct in-service on data management.
  • Adhere to and maintain the departmental filling system.
  • Run system reports on monthly basis.
  • Attend data related meetings and trainings.
  • General office duties.
  • Perform other duties as delegated.
