Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent.
- Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Auxiliary.
- Registration with SANC as a Nursing Auxiliary and proof of current registration.

Duties:
- To provide quality basic nursing care services under the supervision of Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses.
- To nurse patients within the scope of practices as defined by the SANC.
- To practice nursing care safely and ethically in allocated areas.
- Demonstrate ability to integrate knowledge, skills and attitude for the care patients.
- Implement infection control practices and proper medical waste management.
- To maintain professional growth, ethical standards and self-development.
- Compulsory shift work and flexibility.
- Must be prepared to work in allocated area due to service demands and work shifts as per allocations; this includes nightshift, weekends and public holidays.
